Finding a great 3-star hotel in Paris is a joy. There really are some three-star hotels that are better than 4-star hotels.  Stars many-times are awarded for amenities like larger rooms or restaurants, not on the quality of the hotel experience itself. These are 3-star hotels that we recommend wholeheartedly and hope you love them as much as we do.
 
1st Arrondissement
The first Arrondissement is in the very heart of the city. It is walking distance to most tourist sites and therefore is more expensive. Some fabulous hotels (at fabulous pricing) are located here; but we have found a few less expensive gems as well.
3-Star Hotels
The Louvre Sainte Anne Opera, a fully air conditioned hotel is located in the heart of Paris, just a few steps from the Louvre and a few minutes from the Opera Garnier. Offering excellent service and many amenities, this central Paris hotel offers 20 recently renovated, soundproofed rooms with cable TV, direct dial phones, hairdryers, individually controlled air conditioning, internet plug, mini bars, a safety box and Wi-Fi Internet connection.

It is not because this hotel has my very own name and is located on Rue Therese that I like it so much. It is just a great bargain with a perfect location, set near the Louvre, the Palais Royal, rue St Honoré and the Opéra Garnier. Decorated in a warm, classically contemporary style, the hotel has all the amenities you want and need: air-conditioning, minibar, cable television, personal safe and wi-fi access. You might think you are staying in a four-star hotel, but luckily for you you are paying 3-star prices.

Don’t even consider leaving Paris without a stroll through the Luxembourg Gardens.

The 10th arrondissement centers around the Canal St. Martin and the restaurants and cafés which line its banks. Two great train stations Gare du Nord and Gare de l’Est are located here as is the historic Place de la République in the far south of the arrondissement.
