The hotel is a 15 to 20-minute walk from the city center, and it will particularly appeal to those touring France and its wine regions by car, as you won’t have to navigate central Bordeaux to reach the hotel. It is also just a short drive, or complimentary shuttle ride, from the airport.

The 14 rooms are clean, quiet, basic and let a lot of light in. Each comes with free WiFi, and a simple breakfast is available for an additional charge. Note that the owners do not speak much English.
If your focus is efficiency for a really low price, this hotel provides just that. However, note that it can be somewhat noisy, that some of the rooms and showers could use refurbishing, and that the hotel lacks A/C in the summer.
In consession, the hotel offers English-speaking staff and an elevator, and, to beat the noise, ask for a room away from the train station. The 62 clean rooms come with private bathrooms and free, if spotty, WiFi. The hotel is located near a tram stop, and it takes about ten minutes to get to the city center on the tram.
